I started writing this book at 12:01 am November 15, 2012. I first thought about it and outlined it on September 24th, 2012. On December 9th, I wrote the prologue after our dog Barley died. The first chapter was started on November 15th. I know that seems a bit backwards, but sometimes it happens that way. I will be posting the first ten chapters as they are written. All comments are appreciated.
This book is about a five-year-old boy who goes missing, his best friend who is abandoned and how their lives continue to be intertwined from 1917 to 1967. From the time Jack is abandoned, he continues to have nightmares, but can’t quite remember what they mean. He does his best to remember his brother Aril, but after a few years it starts to fade.
I have started Malice and will post the prologue and first five chapters in a few weeks. So for those who have read Alice…forever bad, you can catch up with her and see where she is now!
I completed this book, but I’m very unhappy with it. Something about it isn’t right. I’m not going to spend much time on it for at least six months or so. That’s because I want to finish The Search for John Banks and Malice. After those are done, I will re-visit this one.
This book is about 200 pages long at this point, so I am aiming to finish it by November of 2013. If you like Alice, you’ll like this one!
I’m only a few chapters into this book, but each time I work on it, it absorbs me and puts me in a foul mood. It’s a detective/thriller about six sets of sextuplets who are genetically designed for murder. They are all identical and have 6′s in each of their fingerprints. Try tracking down 36 identical serial killers! I can’t even put a date on when I will get back to this one or if I want to finish it. Input from anyone would help me decide.
I am about 180 pages into this book. It’s a psychological thriller about a man who lures his victims into his life via the internet. He has a different persona for each person, and is a master manipulator at getting them to do things they’d never normally do. His idea of killing someone is to kill their spirit.
